Clinical Trials
The use of Clinical Trials in research have revolutionized our understanding of medicine by helping to remove bias. Every clinical trial conducted at the NICHD is given a unique protocol number for tracking purposes. A list of clinical trials currently being conducted at the NICHD can be found under DIR Clinical Trials.
The DIR provides IT systems, and direct research assistance to help design, collect, and analyze protocol data. The systems provided include the Clinical Trials Database (CTBD), Clinical Datamart, and web-based collaboration tools. Learn more here: https://ctdb.nichd.nih.gov/ctdb/
ClinicalTrials.gov provides a comprehensive list of all clinical trials being conducted by the US Government.
